THE LAST SUPPER (OF 2024)

The OG Hashers! Well, many in this frame are to BH3 what pros are to the Red Light Area (no offense, non-taken), without one, the other has no significance. 

And what a year it has been for the Bombay Hash House Harriers. But more on that, maybe later. For now, let's talk about the run. 

Zafar, not only surprised us by his presence but pulled a crowd for this one. God knows which grave he dug and brought out a lively bunch of 'could be' hashers. 

FUBAR decided to back out of haring this one, Wackopedia couldn't be happier about it, until; Bonsai stepped out and decided to make his life a little more miserable. Together, eventually, they made our life easy and brought on the run, something for everyone. 

1. They hared a 10km one. That made some holes a little wider. 

2. Then they told us a Metro Ride was included in the 10km. The hole shrunk a little.
3. Wacko announced that after the metro ride, hashers were free to rick it back to the venue. The whole became the normal size again. 

In return, the experienced bunch decided to pay respects, walked a little more after the metro ride, and then treated the hares to a bus ride. We mostly wanted to be at Someplace Else with a cold one in our hand and some yummy in the tummy as the holes were now a normal size. 

*Someplace Else, a plush location in BKC which was our location for down-downs. A lavish brunch setup made for the perfect end to the last supper for 2024.

What followed was Whiskey Sours, Mimosas, Sangrias, and beers too. Add to that the live band belting some infamous Bolly tunes that made the drinks more frequent and everyone getting a little footloose. Honestly so, why did we even do a run? The dancing alone could have added to an equivalent walk, yeah?

All-in-all, a fantastic run event to finish the year with a bang. It is like the Star you put on the Christmas tree at the end. It doesn't finish the look, no matter how well you decorate the damn tree. 

A few things we are excited about:

1. BH3 plans to revive evening runs again. Not a lot of show-sha, just eager hashers meeting up for an evening stroll followed by beers and bites at a local pub. 

2. Preparations for hosting the 2026 Nash Hash (yes, BH3 is hosting this one) has begun. We'll reach out and any assistance in mismanagement will be appreciated. 

3. Looking forward to more fun events apart from the usual runs to bring the community together

In the immediate future, The Tata Mumbai Marathon is coming up and we will be present in 3 locations with all the help for the runners.
