Run # 478 iBar

So, Khushboo struck gold with this deal at iBar for our first run post Easter Weekend. And what a sweet deal it be. iBar comes across as one of those places, right in the heart of the city, but peaceful in that lane where it is next to Candies. Simple decor, gentle staff and 2 lovely and adorable canines to give you company while you are out having a smoke.

The hares, Khushboo and Snaf made sure that we did not stay away from our beers for long. The nearly 6km run took us around the Lilavati - Mount Mary area and brought us back safe and sound. The marking was questionable for some but I disagree when said it was bad. It had a certain pattern to it and once you realised the pattern, there was no looking back. So, not judging the marking, the run was a solid 8/10.

Talk about a sweet deal at iBar. Khushboo managed to get us beers at 100 bucks a pint (actually 200/- but then we got 1 + 1). Also, for a mere 100 bucks a head, we got unlimited starters. And the spread was good. We had prawns, cheese balls, chicken and what not. Not bad I say.

Now, with so much food and alcohol in the system, things were bound to get crazy. But the soon to be married couple decided to take it up a notch. They ordered Long Islands for the bunch and trust me when I say, the islands were good. Highly recommended as I have never had a LIT with so much generosity with the alcohol.

Dazed out, phased out but not giving up on the concept of an after party, a bunch of hashers ended up in Bora Bora. As good as the Laksa was, Absinthe shots were a waste of money.

But a good day was had by all... :D
