Hares: Porcupine in petticoat, Horny Yeti,
Now this is one of the most awaitied runs, coz its the midst of the monsoons, and also the lush green surroundings of Karjat. But also, since our host has been spoiling us since last year with some awesome barbeque with our beer!
As usual, a huge crowd was expected for this run, and guess there were close to around 40 people. The run started with a nice walk through the fields, and then some quaint village by lanes, that were quiet yet green. Yes, the Hares had warned us about this being a runners trail, and seems the runners had quiet a lot of road to cover! And then off the road, up the hills, into fields, through some forests, over some streams ( and the bloody Hares said they did promise 'River crossing'...ass..is this what they call a river...seems some people had pissed to make this stream!)
But yes... why was this a 'Wheel Barrow' run.... Not sure wtf were the hares doing on the train, or how they marked it... most marking were at 1 feet height...yup close to Bonzais waist! It didnt rain, but the weather was simply awesome. Cool, over cast...All in all a pleasant run..even though there was quiet a bit on the road!
Back at the hideout, the usual beer, and the Hashers stuffing their faces with chicken, potatoes and corn barbeque.
We also had a huge bunch of hashers from Pune who joined the Bombay hashers, and they agreed that we have more fun ! Infact the Karjat run is so popular, and just so that things do not get out of hand, we have to sometimes call in the bouncers! :-p

But we made sure the Pune hashers were comfortable...
Well, the scummiest of the lot gets to cool their assses off on the ice. Some decided to get 'new souls', so it was obvious that they had to be blessed!
Some ca=me around, bravely a second time... so we showed them that the Bombay Hashers were 'warm, hospitable and accomodating'
Lip Smacking had a cake smacked in her face, as she turned a sweet 18 the next day!
All in all , a Sunday well spent... till the next run on the 25th Of September, in Matheran...
ON ON
