Someone ate a bat and the whole world was under house arrest for most of 2020.
Eventually the world, slowly and gradually started stepping out with utmost safety and precaution. The Bombay Hash House Harriers also craved; and so they braved. Young and old and the non scared beer lovers stepped out of the house to brave a run in November. That's 8 months since the last run in Feb.

Independence Brewing Company welcomed us with a great offer and open arms. So, we picked 15 hashers on a strict first come first serve basis and chalked out a run. Wait, I stand corrected. We didn't chalk anything out. We met at the gates of IBC on Sunday at 5pm and turned on our gadgets aka mobile phones.
Then, we let Wackopedia lead the hares and hounds on a 4 km trail around the block as we followed his location on our mobile phones. Masks on and feet moving, we finished the simple trail in a little less than 90 mins and landed back at IBC.
Then started our journey with some of our favorite beers and ciders and some scrumptious food. We had not met in a while, so conversations flew naturally. Hashers spoke about the virus and how they waded through the pandemic. No circle, no ice, no songs this time.
We are just getting into the groove of things.
After 8 months, we got the feeling of walking out of the house in your running gear and crawling back in, after a few hours, a little tipsy and a lot more happier.
ON ON!
