Red House Run (#538)

Run#538, at Red House, Karjat on Sunday 26th November

Dont know how our Hashers manage to con new 'bakras' to offer their properties for the runs, month after months. Wackopedia conned Kartik to offer his place , The Red House, in Karjat for the run #538.

Great location, right at the foot hills of Bhivgadh, one of Shivajis many view point forts in the Sahyadris. The red of the house, wasnt the only thing warm about the place. The welcome by Kartik, his mother, Kevin  and ofcourse Gopi, their four legged family member was as warm. The Hares, Fag End & Break A Leg (who somehow, lives upto his Hash name) went into the outdoors and mountains to mark the run for the next day. Lazy Horny Yeti, decided to 'pass' the Haring, citing fatigue!

Morning saw the Hashers tickling in. Some by car, others by train, and one Horny Yeti by cycle!. The hares gave the general directions for the run,  and what the confetti marking looked like, where the short runners would turn back from, and what is the best way for the others to get LOST and not come back! Was a pretty steep upward climb to the top, but the view from up was breathtaking. Traces of the old fort, water cisterns, added a little character to the hill. Was a little warm, but fortunately a gentle breeze kept the spirits alive. Back down at The Red House, and a lot of Golden Nectar being devoured, was time for the customary circle!

After the hares, Fag End and Break A Leg were iced for the shitty trail they laid, Clari Fucker , Smelly Armpit and Chut-eney Chediecho were taken to task for the SCBs they were, pretending to go up the full run, but turned back half way, coz of one them had a torn ass,and the other two simply sissies! Next on the ice was Horny Gorilla, for his long absence and the sudden guest appearance. We had Boxing Whore from H4 as the visiting hashers causing global warming on the slab!  Last but not the least were the hosts, Kartik. and KF representative 'look alike' Fubar being thanked for their contribution o a great run and weekend.

Ended with the customary *Hash Anthem and the biryani to wash down the beer..or wait..was it the other way around!

On On..till the next run on the 17th of December, in Karjat!

The 'Wheel Barrow' Run! ( Karjat )

 Sunday 28, August'16

Hares: Porcupine in petticoat, Horny Yeti,

Now this is one of the most awaitied runs, coz its the midst of the monsoons, and also the lush green surroundings of Karjat.  But also, since our host has been spoiling us since last year with some awesome barbeque with our beer!

As usual, a huge crowd was expected for this run, and guess there were close to around 40 people. The run started with a nice walk through the fields, and then some quaint village by lanes, that were quiet yet green. Yes, the Hares had warned us about this being a runners trail, and seems the runners had quiet a lot of road to cover! And then off the road, up the hills, into fields, through some forests, over some streams ( and the bloody Hares said they did promise 'River crossing'...ass..is this what they call a river...seems some people had pissed to make this stream!)

But yes... why was this a 'Wheel Barrow' run.... Not sure wtf were the hares doing on the train, or how they marked it... most marking were at 1 feet height...yup close to Bonzais waist! It didnt rain, but the weather was simply awesome. Cool, over cast...All in all a pleasant run..even though there was quiet a bit on the road!

Back at the hideout, the usual beer, and the Hashers stuffing their faces with chicken, potatoes and corn barbeque.

We also had a huge bunch of hashers from Pune who joined the Bombay hashers, and they agreed that we have more fun !  Infact the Karjat run is so popular, and just so that things do not get out of hand, we have to sometimes call in the bouncers! :-p

But we made sure the Pune hashers were comfortable...

Well, the scummiest of the lot gets to cool their assses off on the ice. Some decided to get 'new souls', so it was obvious that they had to be blessed!

Some ca=me around, bravely a second time... so we showed them that the Bombay Hashers were 'warm, hospitable and accomodating'

Lip Smacking had a cake smacked in her face, as she turned a sweet 18 the next day!

All in all , a Sunday well spent... till the next run on the 25th Of September, in Matheran...

Run #520 : The Umbrella Run (Neral)

Run # 520

Wackopedias Hideout

Hares : Wackopedia, Cradle Snatcher, Fag End.

The Umbrella run... for obvious reasons... with all the dorks who come for a run in the outdoors, and carry an umbrella! Wonder if they use the umbrella in the shower too! What would have happened in the rains? their privates would have melted???

But having said that, seeing so many umbrellas, also was a good sign, as it meant it rained (thank God, Wailing Wacko was proved wrong for a change..that bastard has a black lund...err...tongue!)

To start with everyone was terribly late, including Bonzai the GM. Some bloody excuse of biryani hadnt come blah blah. But Shinings back of the Tshirt, and the smile on his face, gave it away! They had been making most of the lovely weather, and using the fields enroute to Neral.

Nice trail, through fields, forests, streams, waterfalls. And how a little rain makes the run so exciting, and the land so green! Everyone was on a 'weather high'. Some selfie obsessed just couldnt get their hands off each other.

Back to Wackos hideout, and just before the circle, we had to help damsel in distress who was with Gatochguch. Their car was stuck, and it took 12 laborers, 4 engineers, 2 managers, and 2 operators to get them out of trouble.

The circle was usual bunch of ass holes being iced for not wearing a hash Tshirt, or not volunteering to hare. Only differance, this time,,,it was ice water..and that freeeeezes the balls! he ha ha ha ha!

Ok a request to all, 100 for 3 beers isnt much, so pleaaase dont try to save money! Kindly buy your tokens upfront!

All in all...awesome run!

Till the next one in Karjat... ON On!

Run # 518 Piroza Mansion

The walk through the Red Light Area!
-FUBAR

The Gang who checked out Kamathipura
It has been a while that I hared a run or wrote about it. So, when I logged into the blog, I already started hating Horny Yeti for the lousy job he has done with the blog. Mr. Frogman, the order of the runs is completely 'FUBAR' if I may say so. :D

Anyway, coming back to Piroza Mansion. A good turnout for this run. And I am not surprised at all. The ideal terrace with shade and plants and a parrot and a turtle and 2 fans would definitely attract a lot of crowd.

Hares Fartashaty and FUBAR met in the wee hours of Sunday to hare a run. Farty, well versed with the route, took care of navigation while I tapped the place up. The intentions were clear, 'You run in Grant Road, you run through Kamatipura." And thus, the trail was set. Let me also mention that the initial intention was to have 3 hares, including Cumagain. However, Cumagain had a wild night with Lipsmacking; cause apparently, he couldn't find his shorts and his shoe. Just the one shoe. Ummm!!!! Kinky!!! And that was his excuse to not be able to come to hare. Or so he says.

All that perfect marking called for some good food so we wrote down another pair of instructions, "When in this part of town, never miss breakfast at Kyani's." And then that was that.

Hashers started walking in in due time and we flagged off spot on. Sole Seeker was the FRB of the day and was closely followed by Break a Leg while others took their time in Kamatipura.

Post run, the terrace at Piroza Mansion was the most blessed place we could have asked for. Chilled beers, the shade of the roof and the green plantation made for a pleasant afternoon in the city.

Circle:
Hares: Farty and FUBAR got mixed reviews for the run. Basically, all those who got laid at the 'pura' were happy and all the girls were cribbing. :P. All in all, a solid 8/10 for the run, cause I hared it. :)

Cumagain and LipSmacking: For having weird sex with shorts and shoes and making an excuse to not hare, and maybe not swallow, Cumagain and Lipsmacking got on the ice. Cumagain got to drink his free beer, not from a pisspot, but his shoe, that, *sarcasm* apparently, was missing in the morning.

Neha: She found all the sexy men in shorts a real turn on. And she also thought she could learn about fashion from us. With that intention, Neha, Uniball's sister, decided that she'd like to stick with us for longer and became a two timer. She got her much deserved spot on the ice. Mostly ogles, no questions for her.

And with that, we sang the anthem, got to drinking more beer and ate our biryani; post which a lot of us went to other places and had even more beer!

Run # 512 - The 'Oasis' Run

Where: Piroza Mansion

Hares: Fartasharty, Wreckless, Baby Dick

Yet, another city run!  No not another one!  But... once we reached the venue, it was a surprise awaiting us! No one could have imagined that right next to Grant road station, on the top of a building, would be such an awesome terrace garden, Definitely an oasis in middle of the concrete desert  Suddenly, no one seemed to be missing the outdoors.

Yet another run marked by lazy Hashers on scooters! They took us through Skywalks,  the always wonderful Gamdevi, up to Walkeshwar with a view of the sea, all around Napean Sea road, and back to Grant Road! Quiet a long run, and hot too, so was a welcome to come back to the comfort of the terrace with fans!

For a change, we had some sexy brew masters wearing bikinis serving us Beer . A bit hairy, but sexy!

Quiet a whole lot of hashers, and everyone on their best behavior so as not to damage the lovely antique furniture! Our gracious hosts were super sporty, and did some side line participation, and also posed for pictures holding the 'Hares' :-p

We had couple of international visitors., or lets say Hashers, who missed us so much, that they made sure they made it to the run!

Presume, some people just are wierd and love drinking beer, if not a glass, anything would do!

All in all, a lovely Sunday, in the city, yet it transported us to tranquility!

Enjoy the visuals...

ON ON...

Run #511 : The Jungle run!

When : 25th October 2015
Where : Arundhati Bungalow, Borivali ( The National Park run )
Hares : Shivaji, Just Abhay

another run in the city...yet in a jungle! And the Parulekars, who live right next to the National park, are always generous, rather crazy, to allow a bunch of mad loud hashers into the space, they live in!

Sanjay Gandhi National Park ( SGNP ), or commonly called the Borivali National Park, is one of the few national parks in the world, thats inside a city! So though its a run in the city, its completely devoid of traffic and noise, surrounded by greenery and fresh air!

Since its a national park, and keeping in mind the eco nature, the run was not marked by tape or chalk. Instead it was live haring. Pretty simple run / walk / crawl... the runners went all the way to Kanheri caves.

End of October, and inspite of the green zone, the temperatures were soaring, and had everyone drained, and ready for the beer once they were back at Parulekars bungalow!

Now this run venue, is the closest you can get to being in the wild forest, without leaving the city limits. One of the very few National parks thats inside the city location, any where in the world! Our hosts, the Parulekars are super generous, guess thats something to do with the fact that we hashers are so ‘soft spoken’ and they simply love us for scaring the leopards away!

Its one of the most ‘green’ runs in the city, and most hashers are petrified that the over dose of O2 might knock them out on this run. Plain , simply, yet fantastic run, that stretched from the entrance of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, upto the Kanheri caves and back.

Thanks to the confusion on social media by ‘Cum again’ Wacko had to be iced, as he had to undergo severe mental therapy, and he is still unsure if the run at Arunadhati is happening, had happened and was to be happening! Poor boy, last we saw him, he had lost all his hair due to the shock treatment!

Scott made made multiple women, besides his wife Jen, cum that day!

Well..nothing like a nice drink from the sole for the soul! Quiet a few with new soles!

Horny yeti, was made the new slave in the mismanagement, and entrusted to take care of the Hash Trash ( of which he does a completely Trashy Job)

Run #513 The Year Ending ‘Harakiri’ Run

Where : Bolivian Alps, Wadala on 20th Dec 2015.

Hares : Break A Leg, Horny Yeti

Now, when Horny Yeti and Break a Leg, volunteered to hare the run, we should have expected nothing less...but not atleast so much MORE! Who the fuck sets a 14 kms run on a HOT sunday morning!

The run started from Bolivian Alps ( No one told me that the Alps had been exported to South America!), which happens to be Break A Leg's abode. Surprise surprise...we got our first ride in the Bombay monorail.

even it meant one stop, and then to get out of the comfort of the ac cabins, onto the sweltering streets of Wadala, and to start running / walking / crawling towards the Sewree Fort, with hopes of catching a glimpse of the Pink Flamingos that migrate all the way from Russia! Well screw the Flamingos, we were completely 'Flamishedgo' by the time we reached there! Thank God, some sense prevailed , and the hashers had kept some cold nimbu pani for us at the turn around point!

Some took a cab back, some got a ride in Break A Legs car to return! So Iron People did complete the walk back! All in all, a hot run, but a day well spent, and thankfully the circle was indoors, in an AC room for a change!

The Hares were sentenced to be iced till their balls froze! A great way to end the year, only if we survive the heat stroke!

Happy 2016...On On

see what we were talking about the run being LONG!
