Run # 389 ARC

Run # 389
Amateur Riders Club

Evening runs are gaining more popularity with hashers by every run. Last night at ARC was no different.

The run started at 1700 hrs and hares Fartashaty and Baby Dick showed their exceptionally well haring experience in the even wonderfully trailed run. Finally, the posh and high class face of South Bombay was shown to us as the run took us from the Race Course to Cumballa Hill, Peddar Road, US embassy, US consulate, Chinese Consulate, Cadbury and back to the Race course.

As always, the environment in ARC was electrifying with beer and starters doing its round over conversations and cricket. Wreckless made it to the post run ceremonies with broken ribs. Fubar got what we call ‘Chikoti’ (a whack on the head for getting a haircut)… from almost all of the hashing group, courtesy… Cumagain.

Since the entire upper section of ARC was booked and reserved for ARC, courtesy Bonsai and Shining, we also conducted a CWI (circle without ICE).

Hares Baby Dick and Fartashaty were applauded for the fabulous run. Some hashers complained of the run being a bit tad long but it was worth all the fun.

Virgins Gulam Hussain and Justine(Paris Plaster’s daughter) were welcomed to the hash with glasses of water as none of them drank beer.

Short-cutters Screwed Driver and Harsh Doshi got Kingfisher Ultra mild to soak their throats.

Jaideep and Nilesh were on their second run… but as there was no circle conducted on the last run, we honoured and welcomed them on this run.

Also, these 2 newbies were amongst the first ones to register for the nash hash… now that’s what we call the hashing spirit.

Anyway, so after the circle and ‘n’ number of beers and pizza’s we called it an evening… just 2 hours before the calendar would change its date… ON ON
